The Ontario 511 Route Planner is an integrated route planning service that offers valuable information on highways, roads and transit systems, to help users plan their travel routes.

The Ontario 511 Route Planner is a pilot project designed to assess the value of providing this service to the public through feedback and use.

Planning your trip is easy — simply enter your starting location and destination and the Ontario 511 Route Planner will display the best driving route, with alternate route options, based on live traffic data. Or avoid delays and plan your trip by taking transit. Select Transit to view transit options available in your area, or Drive + Transit to find the best connections. Driving directions will be shown to selected transit hubs that offer parking, where you can park your vehicle and transfer to your transit connection that will get you to your destination.
